As an amendment to motion S5M-10571 in the name of Fiona Hyslop (Scotland’s Population Needs and Migration Policy), leave out from "unique" to end and insert "challenges facing Scotland and the rest of the UK's population and the potential economic gains if migration was sustained; notes the findings of reports by the Culture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Committee and the UK Parliament's Scottish Affairs Committee and the All Party Parliamentary Group on Social Integration; further notes the concerns of the public and numerous business groups regarding the practicality of significant internal deviation within the UK's migration system, and recognises that any variable migration scheme for Scotland must be developed in cose co-operation with the UK Government and within an overall framework."
