From 4th to 8th July 2022 I visited Munich and Berlin, Germany, as part of a cross-Party delegation from the Scottish Parliament, meeting Parliamentarians, public officials and business representatives, as a guest of the Hanns Seidel Foundation. The costs of the visit, including travel, accommodation, meals and translation services amounted to £1460 and were paid by the Hanns Seidel Foundation (a political research foundation of Munich, Germany). From 13 to 16 November 2025, I attended, by invitation, the Parliamentary Diabetes Global Network (PDGN) Advocacy Forum in Valletta, Malta. The estimated cost of the trip for two persons amounted to £1,400 and was funded by the PDGN (of 44 Howard Road, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 4EA) which is the world's first and only global network of parliamentarians who champion diabetes prevention, early diagnosis and the best treatments for all. From 7 October to 13 October 2023 I visited Delhi, India, as part of a delegation of the Cross Party Group on India. The purpose of the visit was to engage with FinTech and Culture organisations and senior politicians within the Indian government. The total costs of the visit, including flights, hotel accommodation, food and transport, amounted to £2,429.96 and were paid by Amit Shah, Director of Flight Path Travel (a tour and travel agency which sells, flights, hotels and tour packages; Office No. 1, Jubilee Business Centre, 211 Kingsbury Road, Kingsbury, London, NW9 8AQ).
