As an amendment to motion S5M-07641 in the name of Fergus Ewing (Scotland's Food and Drink Strategy, Ambition 2030), after “the UK and in Scotland;” insert “calls for an approach that ensures an increase in production and profitability from the farm gate to the end of the supply chain; urges the Scottish Government and local government to support producers by sourcing quality Scottish food and drink; calls on the Scottish Government to take action to reduce the high business rates that disadvantage the food and drink sector;”.
