As an amendment to S7M-01114 in the name of Stephen Gethins (Scotland’s Energy Opportunity), leave out from the first "Scotland's" to end and insert “the most important measure for energy policy is the cost of energy to households and businesses; recognises the reality that hydrocarbons will remain a critical component of Scotland's energy mix; endorses the position of renewables playing a complimentary role in the energy mix and not a dominant one, and agrees to a target for nuclear energy output to match renewable energy output by 2050.”
