I am a partner and owner of 50% of Haar Sauna Ltd (of St Olaf's Hall Church Road, Lerwick, Shetland, Scotland, ZE1 0FD). I do not expect to spend any time overseeing the business as I resigned from the role of Director in February 2026. I expect to receive income of between £15,001 and £20,000 per annum.

I own a flat in the Aberdeen City local authority area with a market value of between £200,001 and £250,000 with gross rental income of between £5,001 and £10,000 per annum.
I hold ordinary shares in Equinor UK Limited with a value of £73,373.
I hold 50% of the shares in Haar Sauna Ltd with a value of between £75,000 and £100,000.
My family hold 25% share in North Fish Ltd in Shetland (an energy company, with an application for funding under Islands Deal regarding expansion being prepared).
My family hold 50% share in St. Olaf Hall LLP (office rental property).
My family hold the whole ownership of Havsea Ltd (a seafood consulting company which undertakes overseas work).
My family hold 2% share in Good & Proper Tea Ltd (a drinks company).
My family hold 2% share in Energy Isles Ltd in Shetland (a wind farm, with planning permission granted but not yet developed, owned by Statkraft).
My company Haar Sauna Ltd won a grant of £15,000 from Scottish Edge in February 2025. In May 2025 the company was awarded Scottish Edge winner of £100,000 (70% of which is a loan and 30% - grant). Haar Sauna Ltd has made a 50% draw down from this and will likely make the other 50% draw down in 2026.
My family hold 0.5% share in Hammers Hill Ltd in Orkney (a wind farm, with expansion being scoped but planning permission not yet applied for).
During my sabbatical year from employment, I have written a sauna book. The publisher is Birlinn Ltd and the book will go on sale in September 2026.
