Remuneration and related undertaking

I am a registered Mental Health Nurse for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (of Gartnavel Royal Hospital, Glasgow, G12 0XH). I expect to work an average of 12 hours per month in this role. I expect to earn between £5,001 – £10,000 per annum to maintain nursing registration requirements.

I am a Councillor for Renfrewshire Council (of Cotton Street, Paisley, PA1 1WB). I work in the region of 12 to 20 hours per week in this role. Until 14 May 2026 I received remuneration of between £30,001 and £35,000 per annum for the Senior Councillor role. Since 15 May 2026 I receive remuneration of between £25,001 and £30,000 for the councillor role. The basic rate of the councillor salary is deducted from my MSP salary.

Gifts

On 26/7/26 I attended the woman’s gymnastics all rounder final for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The hospitality included the game ticket as well as food and drink. I attended as a guest of the Commonwealth Games Team in Glasgow. The cost value was approximately £250.

On 1/8/26 I attended the Australia vs Jamaica semifinal netball game for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. The hospitality included the game ticket as well as food and drink. I attended as a guest of the Commonwealth Games Team in Glasgow. The cost value was approximately £250.
