I was a COSLA spokesperson for Resources from May 2022 until November 2025. This was an appointment made by Local Government leaders to act on behalf of Scottish Local Government. My role involved Local Government Finance and Budget as well as Local Government pay within the Scottish Joint Council and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers Pay bargaining groups nationally. It also included cross-party work.
