The Committee considered its approach to scrutiny of the legislative consent memorandum lodged by Shona Robison, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Finance (LCM(S6) 39) and agreed to invite the Minister for Community Wealth and Public Finance.

The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Consumer Scotland Act 2020 (Relevant Public Authorities) Regulations 2024 and agreed to write to the Minister for Community Wealth and Public Finance.

The Committee considered a revised draft Stage 1 report. Various changes were agreed to, and the report was agreed for publication.
