From 7 October to 13 October 2023 I visited Delhi, India, as part of a delegation of the Cross Party Group on India. The purpose of the visit was to engage with FinTech and Culture organisations and senior politicians within the Indian government. The total costs of the visit, including flights, hotel accommodation, food, and transport, amounted to £2,402.16 and were paid by Amit Shah, Director of Flight Path Travel (a tour and travel agency which sells, flights, hotels and tour packages; Office No. 1, Jubilee Business Centre, 211 Kingsbury Road, Kingsbury, London, NW9 8AQ). From 16 to 26 October 2025, I was part of a delegation of cross-party MSPs who visited Bhutan to meet with MPs, NGOs and entrepreneurs to learn and share information about our respective countries and legislatures. The cost of the visit, amounting to £4,561.96, was comprised of £2,612.20 for travel and £1,949.76 for other expenses, and was paid by the permissible donor the Tam O’Shanter Trust (of Little Milton, Nr Kingussie, Inverness-shire, PH21 1NS) which is a registered Scottish charity (SC030043) and a family charitable trust with an all-encompassing (rather than specific) charitable objective.
