The Committee considered proposals by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating in a devolved area as set out in the following UK statutory instrument proposals—

Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Act 2023 (Revocation) Regulations 2024

Plant Health (Fees) (England) and Official Controls (Frequency of Checks) Amendments Regulations 2024

The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notifications should be included in the UK SIs.


7 Welfare of Dogs (Scotland) Bill(In Private):

The Committee considered a draft Stage 1 report. Various changes were agreed to, and the report was agreed for publication.
