The Committee considers its work programme regularly so as to maintain a rolling programme of business. Alongside referred work such as legislation and petitions, the Committee’s main business over coming months is set out below.

- Thursday 12th January: A one off evidence session with the Deputy First Minister regarding an update on the Redress scheme.
- Wednesday 18th January: A Budget Scrutiny session with the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills and the Minister for Children and Young People.
- Wednesday 1st February: First evidence session on the Disabled Children and Young People (Transitions to Adulthood) (Scotland) Bill.
- Wednesday 8th February: Evidence session on the Disabled Children and Young People (Transitions to Adulthood) (Scotland) Bill.
