Education, Children and Young People Committee Future business

The Committee considers its work programme regularly to maintain a rolling programme of business. The Committee's main business over coming months will include:

Education (Scotland) Bill: The Committee issued a call for written evidence in June 2024, which closed on 30 August. The Committee plans to hold oral evidence sessions as part of its Stage 1 scrutiny in September and October 2024.

Schools (Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Bill: The Committee issued a call for written evidence in June 2024, which closed on 4 September. The Committee will hold oral evidence sessions as part of its Stage 1 scrutiny in due course.

Scottish Languages Bill: The Committee will undertake additional scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 2 due course.
