Budget 2024 to 2025
Background
Throughout the year, the Committee will look at how the Scottish Government spends money on education, children and young people. The Committee focuses its budget-related work on the impact of spending on the delivery of outcomes.
This year the Committee has agreed to focus on outcomes achieved by Scottish Government spend in three areas:
- higher and further education
- local government spending on education and children’s services
- the Scottish Attainment Challenge
