The nomination period for the election of conveners is now open. Nomination forms can be obtained from clerks located in P1.02 from 9.00am to 1.00pm on Tuesday 9 June or via the intranet. The intranet page also contains more detail on how the election process works.

Hard copies of nomination forms must be submitted to the clerks in P1.02 by 1.00pm on Tuesday 9 June.

Candidates can only be nominated for a convenership which has been designated to their party. They also need to be nominated by a member of their own party and seconded by a member of another party.

The election is expected to take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 9 June. It will be conducted by secret ballot and so Members need to attend in person in order to vote.

There are no meetings today.

Parliament usually sits on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
