The Committee considered the following negative instrument— Council Tax Reduction (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2023, and agreed to make no recommendations.
3 Scrutinising Social Justice:
The Committee considered and agreed a draft report, and the report was agreed for publication.
4 Bankruptcy and Diligence (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee considered and agreed a draft letter to the Economy and Fair Work Committee.
5 Impact of the cost of the living crisis:
The Committee considered the evidence it heard at its meetings on 27 April and 4 May related to disabled people, unpaid carers, and lone parents and agreed to write to the House of Common's Work and Pensions Committee regarding its ongoing inquiry into cost of living support payments.
6 Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee considered correspondence received from the Scottish Government and agreed its response.
