Alexander Dennis is a bus manufacturing company that has sites in both Falkirk and Larbert.
On 11 June 2025, Alexander Dennis announced a consultation to look at merging its UK bus body manufacturing operations into a single site in Scarborough. That means operations at Falkirk would be discontinued and the site closed. Work at Larbert would be suspended upon completion of current contracts, placing up to 400 roles at risk of redundancy.
