The Committee heard evidence on the Education (Scotland) Act 2025 (Consequential Provisions) Regulations 2026 [draft] and the Official Statistics (Scotland) Amendment Order 2026 [draft] from—

Jenny Gilruth, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills supported by Jaxon Parish, Qualifications Scotland Policy Team Leader, Education Reform Directorate, Scottish Government;

Judith Brown, Solicitor, Scottish Government Legal Directorate.


2. Subordinate legislation:
