Items in Private

Welcome to this meeting of the Social Justice Committee. Do members agree to take items 2, 4 and 5 in private?

Members indicated agreement.

Before we move into private session, Linda Fabiani would like to say something.

When I was reading the paperwork this morning, it dawned on me that I should place on record the fact that I have a flat that I rent out. It is not a house in multiple occupation, but it has the potential to be so. I declare that interest.

Meeting continued in private.

Meeting adjourned.

On resuming—

Before I take item 6, Robert Brown wishes to make a statement.

This is a minor matter, but about 15 years ago I paid £1 to become a member of Abbeyfield Rutherglen Society Ltd, which should be mentioned in the context of houses in multiple occupation.

Does the dividend go towards your office expenses?

Absolutely.
