Item 5 is consideration of the Scottish Government’s response to the committee’s stage 1 report on the delegated powers in the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Bill. The Government’s response is set out in the paper that we have before us. The Government has not agreed to the committee’s recommendations. Do members have any comments?
It would be useful to write to the Government once again, asking it to reconsider some of the comments in the letter. Our report was quite measured, and I think that that would be a positive way forward.
