The Committee was established in June 2026. It focuses on Scotland’s economy and its businesses, jobs and workforce, including:

the Scottish Government’s economy policy
support for business, industry, manufacturing and entrepreneurship
fair work and skills development
tourism policy, strategy and support
energy policy and energy consents.
