1. Work programme (In Private):

The Committee considered (1) its work programme, noted that the Scottish Affairs Committee had launched an inquiry into City Region Growth Deals in Scotland, agreed to maintain a watching brief and consider further at a future meeting, (2) correspondence from the Finance and Public Administration Committee about Parliamentary scrutiny of proposed national outcomes and agreed to delegate responsibility for signing off the joint call for views to the Convener, (3) correspondence from the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee about Ferguson Marine Port Glasgow and agreed to consider a paper at a future meeting. The Committee also agreed to invite the Minister for Small Business, Innovation, Tourism and Trade to give evidence on broadband connectivity and the Scottish Government’s R100 programme.
