1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private.


2. Subsidy Control Bill (UK Parliament Legislation):

The Committee took evidence from—

Professor David Bell, Chair, The Steering Group for the Replacement to the European Social Investment Funds (ESIF) in Scotland;

Professor Steve Fothergill, Sheffield Hallam University;

Steven Heddle, Environment and Economy Spokesperson, Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA);

George Peretz, Queen's Counsel , Monckton Chambers.


3. Subsidy Control Bill (UK Parliament Legislation):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting.


4. Work programme:

The Committee considered an approach paper for its next inquiry and agreed to continue consideration to its next meeting.
