The Committee agreed to take item 5 in private.

2. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee took evidence on the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 (Consequential Provision) Regulations 2026 from—

Graeme Dey, Minister for Parliamentary Business and Veterans, Andrew Proudfoot, Parliament Team Leader, Parliament and Legislation Unit and
Rebecca Reid, Solicitor, Scottish Government.

3. Subordinate legislation:

Graeme Dey, Minister for Parliamentary Business and Veterans moved—S6M-20792—That the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee recommends that the Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Act 2025 (Consequential Provision) Regulations 2026 be approved. The motion was agreed to.

4. Scottish Information Commissioner Evidence Session:

The Committee will take evidence from—

David Hamilton, Scottish Information Commissioner,
Euan McCulloch, Head of Enforcement and
Claire Stephen, Head of Policy and Information, Scottish Information Commissioner .

5. Evidence Session (in private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 4 and agreed to write to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
