The Committee agreed to postpone its consideration of evidence until next week's meeting.
The Committee considered its work programme. The Committee agreed to take evidence at future meetings on the Draft Climate Change Plan: 2026-2024; to invite the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care to give evidence on the Scottish budget for 2026-27 at a future meeting; and to invite the Patient Safety Commissioner for Scotland to give evidence on her role and priorities at a future meeting. It agreed, other work programme priorities permitting, to hold one-off evidence sessions before the end of the current parliamentary session on sport and physical activity, food policy and public health and to consider its approach to those topics, in private, at future meetings. It also agreed to consider in private at future meetings: 1) a draft report on its inquiry into ADHD and autism pathways and support; 2) a draft Stage 1 report on the Non-surgical Procedures and Functions of Medical Reviewers (Scotland) Bill; 3) a draft report on the Draft Climate Change Plan: 2026-2040; and 4) a Session 6 Legacy Report.
