The Committee took evidence on the Care Leaver Payment (Scotland) Regulations 2026 [draft] from—

Natalie Don-Innes, Minister for Children, Young People and The Promise, supported by Aisha Pereyra, Team Leader, Care Leaver Payment and Gavin Henderson, Deputy Director Keeping the Promise, Scottish Government;

Susan Bonellie, Lawyer, Scottish Government Legal Directorate.


2. Subordinate legislation:

Natalie Don-Innes, Minister for Children, Young People and The Promise moved S6M-20537—That the Education, Children and Young People Committee recommends that the Care Leaver Payment (Scotland) Regulations 2026 [draft] be approved.

The motion was agreed to.
