1. Inquiry into the harm caused by substance misuse in Scottish prisons (In Private):

The Committee considered a draft report. Various changes were agreed to, and the Committee agreed to consider a revised draft, in private, at a future meeting. 

2. Pre-Budget Scrutiny:

The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—

John Logue, Crown Agent and Chief Executive and Yvette Greener, Chief Operating Officer, Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service;

Malcolm Graham, Chief Executive, Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service;

and then from—

Stuart Stevens, Chief Officer, Andy Watt, Deputy Chief Officer and Sarah O'Donnell, Deputy Chief Officer (Corporate Services), Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Liam Kerr declared an interest as a practising solicitor regulated by the Law Society of Scotland.

3. Pre-Budget Scrutiny (In Private):

The Committee agreed to defer consideration of the evidence heard earlier under agenda item 2.
