1 Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.
2 Correspondence:
The Committee considered recent correspondence. The Committee agreed to seek further information from a range of organisations in relation to the letter from NHS Scotland on the issuing of medical prescriptions to prisoners upon liberation. The Committee also agreed to seek further information from the Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Veterans on access to court transcripts for victims of crimes.

The Committee considered the views expressed during recent informal discussions held with police officers.
