Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)
  • Other questions such as Topical, Portfolio, General and First Minister's Question Times are taken in the Chamber

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will provide an update on its plans to fund diabetes technology, such as continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps, flash and the innovative hybrid closed loop, to reduce any inequalities in access for people with diabetes.

To ask the Scottish Government what investigations non-departmental public bodies have undertaken to determine whether any of the buildings that they manage were fitted with reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete, and what the cost was of conducting any necessary repairs, broken down by building.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it or its agencies have conducted an independent audit of the claimed central estimate of a £20 billion finance gap for nature contained in the Finance Gap for UK Nature Report, published by the Green Finance Institute in October 2021, in light of it subsequently being quoted in Scottish Government communications.
