An e-mail that I received from an organisation that wishes to have a speaker at a conference has been circulated to members. I have put it on the agenda, as I would be grateful for members' views.
Does Jackie Baillie want to do it? She seems to be ideally suited.
The organisation approached me, but I said that I could not do it. That is why I suggested that the invitation be opened to the entire committee. The organisation then e-mailed the convener.
I am not available on that day.

I have not looked at my commitments for that day. I will check and come back to the committee on that.
