Interests

Ian McKee (Oldest Committee Member):

Good morning and welcome to the first meeting of the Health and Sport Committee in the third session of the Scottish Parliament. This is the second committee that I have had the honour of convening in two days. I ask members to turn off any mobile phones and pagers. Apologies have been received from Michael Matheson. Karen Gillon is stuck in traffic and hopes to come later. I welcome Joe FitzPatrick, who is substituting for Michael Matheson.

In accordance with section 3 of the code of conduct for MSPs, I invite members to declare any interests that are relevant to the remit of the committee.

I acknowledge the interests that I have declared for the "Register of Interests of Members of the Scottish Parliament". I am not certain whether this is a declarable interest, but I worked for several years as a paid adviser to the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. That stopped five years ago and I have received no remuneration from that organisation since then.

I have no interests to declare.

I have no interests to declare.

I have no interests to declare.

I do not think that I need to declare this, but I am a member of Unison.

I confirm that I am substituting for Michael Matheson. I have no interests to declare.

I have nothing to declare.
