Church Action on Poverty

Members will note that I have received an invitation from Church Action on Poverty to represent the committee at a national conference on poverty and social justice, which is to be held in Edinburgh on 15 June. That does not preclude others from attending. I understand that the organisation is keen that committee members should attend. Should we be represented formally at the conference and, if so, by whom?

I think that we should be represented and I nominate the convener to represent us, if she is happy to do so.

We have taken a shine to you, Johann.

If that is acceptable, I will be happy to represent the committee. If other members wish to attend the conference, they are welcome to do so.

I hope that we might each be invited.

I would like to go. I expect to attend the conference.
