1. Declaration of interests:

Heather Anderson was invited to declare any relevant interests. Heather Anderson indicated that she had no interests to declare.

2. Decisions on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 4 and 5 in private.

3. Update on Independent Review of Creative Scotland – evidence:

The Committee took evidence from—

Iain Munro, Chief Executive, Isabel Davis, Executive Director of Screen Scotland and Alastair Evans, Director of Strategy, Creative Scotland.

Heather Anderson declared an interest as a Councillor for Dundee City Council.

Pauline Stafford declared an interest as a Councillor for West Lothian Council.

4. Update on Independent Review of Creative Scotland – review of evidence (in private):

The Committee reviewed the evidence heard under agenda item 3.

5. Representation on External Bodies (in private):

The Committee considered representation on the following external bodies:

• UK/EU Parliamentary Partnership Assembly (PPA); 
• Congress of Local and Regional Authorities (CLRAE) of the Council of Europe; 
• Committee of the Regions (CoR)-UK Contact Group; and, 
• Interparliamentary Forum.

The Committee agreed to write to the Parliamentary Bureau with its recommendations for representation on the above external bodies.
