1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 3 and 4 in private, and to take any further consideration of its annual report and legacy report in private at future meetings.


2. Representation of the People Bill (UK Parliament legislation):

The Committee considered the legislative consent memorandum lodged by Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government (LCM-S6-74). The Committee noted the terms of the memorandum and that the Scottish Government has indicated it does not intend to lodge a motion on legislative consent prior to the Scottish parliamentary election in May 2026.


3. Annual report (in private):

The Committee considered and agreed a draft annual report for the parliamentary year from 13 May 2025 to 8 April 2026.


4. Legacy report (in private):

The Committee considered a draft legacy report.
