1. Declaration of interests:

Lorna Slater declared she worked for Orbital Marine Power Ldt and indicated she is a member of Unite the Union.

Michelle Thomson declared she is an ambassador for the Westminster All Party Parliamentary Group for Fair Business Banking and owns buy-to-let properties. 




2. Choice of Deputy Convener:

The Committee chose Michelle Thomson as its new Deputy Convener.


3. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee took evidence on the Tied Pubs (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 [draft] from—

Tom Arthur, Minister for Employment and Investment, Scottish Government .
