1. Decision on taking business in private:

Apologies were received from Evelyn Tweed MSP.

Alasdair Allan indicated that he had no relevant interests to declare.

The Committee agreed to take item 5 in private.


2. Cross-Party Group - Ukraine:

The Committee considered an application for recognition from the proposed Cross-Party Group on Ukraine, and took evidence from—

Colin Beattie, MSP, Miles Briggs, MSP and Alex Cole-Hamilton, MSP, Scottish Parliament.

Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP declared an interest as a host under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme. 


3. Cross-Party Group - approval:

The Committee agreed to accord recognition to the proposed Cross-Party Group on Ukraine.


4. Cross-Party Group Compliance:

The Committee considered a paper on Cross-Party Groups' compliance with the Code of Conduct. The Committee agreed to write to the Conveners of the Cross-Party Groups on China, Japan and the Future of Football in Scotland.


5. Post-legislative Scrutiny for Lobbying:

The Committee considered the evaluation of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act 2016.
