1. Correspondence (In Private):

The Committee considered a draft letter to the Scottish Government regarding the scope of the Fiscal Framework Review.

2. Decisions on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 4 and 6 in private.

3. Two-child cap:

The Committee took evidence from—

John Dickie, Director of Child Poverty Action Group Scotland, End Child Poverty Coalition;

Charis Chittick, Head of Policy, Strategy and Communications, One Parent Families Scotland;

Dr Hannah Randolph, Economist Fellow, Fraser of Allander Institute;

Professor Stephen Sinclair, Chair, Poverty and Inequality Commission.

The Committee considered the evidence heard under item 3.

5. Correspondence (In Private):

The Committee continued its consideration of the draft letter. Various changes were agreed to. The Committee agreed that a revised version would be circulated for members to confirm whether or not they supported it.

The Committee considered its work programme. The Committee agreed its approach to its legacy report.
