1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 6 and 7 in private.


2. Instruments subject to affirmative procedure:

 

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

4. Instruments not subject to any parliamentary procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

Bail and Release from Custody (Scotland) Act 2023 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2026 (SSI 2026/24 (C.2))


5. Contract (Formation and Remedies) (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee considered the Bill at Stage 2.

The following amendments were agreed to (without division): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17.

The following provisions were agreed to without amendment: sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and the long title.

The following provisions were agreed to as amended: sections 1, 2, 3, 6, 13, 16 and 19.

The Committee completed Stage 2 consideration of the Bill.


6. Community Wealth Building (Scotland) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered the delegated powers provisions in this Bill after Stage 2. It agreed to report to the Scottish Parliament.


7. Medical Training (Prioritisation) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (in private):

The Committee considered the Legislative Consent Memorandum and powers to make subordinate legislation within devolved competence in the Bill. It agreed to write to the Scottish Government and the UK Government. It also agreed to report to the lead committee on the Bill, the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee.
