2 Inquiry into use of the made affirmative procedure during the coronavirus pandemic:

The Committee took evidence from—

Morag Ross QC, Faculty of Advocates.


3 European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018:

The Committee agreed that the following instrument had been laid under the appropriate procedure—

Animal Products (Transitional Import Conditions) (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2021 (SSI 2021/432)

It however considered that the categorisation should be of medium, rather than low, significance.

The Committee also agreed to write to the Rural Affairs, Islands and Natural Environment Committee to highlight points raised during its discussion.
