We explored these issues in some detail in our Scottish Budget 2022-23 Report and recommended that these issues should be a particular focus for the Scottish Government.
We hope that the change we have recommended to Parliament to bring forward the introduction date for members’ bills will bring substantial benefits to the overall members’ bill process in the next parliamentary session.
