Parliamentary questions can be asked by any MSP to the Scottish Government or the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The questions provide a means for MSPs to get factual and statistical information.

  • Written questions must be answered within 10 working days (20 working days during recess)

To ask the Scottish Government what estimated delivery dates it received from all shipbuilders in relation to its work to establish how quickly it could retender and deliver a vessel as a replacement for vessel 802.

To ask the Scottish Government whether any discussions took place with Ferguson Marine in relation to (a) restarting construction on vessel 802 from the beginning and (b) constructing a replacement for vessel 802 at a different shipyard, and what the outcome was of any such discussions.
