Interests

Mary Scanlon (Highlands and Islands) (Con)

I welcome everyone to the first meeting in 2015 of the Interests of Members of the Scottish Parliament (Amendment) Bill Committee. I remind everyone to turn off mobile phones, as they can interfere with the sound system. We received no apologies in advance of the meeting.

Agenda item 1 is to allow committee members to declare any interests that they have that are relevant to the committee’s work. Background information has been provided in a note from the clerk.

My interests are declared in my entry in the register of members’ interests, which anyone can see. I have a few acres of land in Donegal and a small pension from the Scottish Public Pensions Agency.

I invite members around the table to declare any interests that they feel are relevant.

I have no relevant interests to declare.

I have no relevant interests to declare in relation to the Interests of Members of the Scottish Parliament (Amendment) Bill, but I am a member of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee.

I am not aware of any interests that I need to declare.
