Item 2 is to choose a convener. The Parliament has agreed that only members of the Labour Party are eligible for nomination as convener. That being the case, I seek nominations for the post of convener of the committee.
I nominate Irene Oldfather.
I do not think that we need one but, just in case, is there a seconder?
