The committee must now choose a new convener. I remind members that it was agreed on 17 June 1999 that the convener of the Education, Culture and Sport Committee should come from the Labour party.

I propose Karen Gillon.

I second that.

Karen Gillon was chosen as convener.

I invite Karen Gillon to take the chair and convene the meeting. That was not even three minutes.
