Under agenda item 2, the committee will appoint a new deputy convener. Following Alex Rowley’s resignation from the committee, the position of deputy convener is now vacant. Parliament has agreed that only members of the Scottish Labour Party are eligible for nomination as deputy convener of this committee. I invite any nominations for that post.
