Decision on Taking Business in Private

I welcome everyone to the 23rd meeting in 2019 of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee.

Agenda item 1 is a decision on whether to take item 3, which is discussion of some correspondence received by the committee, in private. Are we agreed?

Members indicated agreement.

I prefer such things to be discussed in public as a default position. I do not think that there is anything that we should not discuss in public and I would prefer that.

We will discuss that later and come back to you at the next meeting if that is okay.
