Agenda item 2 is choice of convener. The procedure is explained in paper 1. As this is a sub-committee, under standing orders, it is for the members to decide who is to be convener. All members of the sub-committee are eligible to be nominated. I invite any member to nominate another member for the post.
It is my very great pleasure to nominate our colleague John Finnie to be convener.

Thank you very much indeed, colleagues. This has always been a consensual committee, and I am sure that it will continue on that basis.
I thank my predecessor, Mary Fee, who has moved on. Mary was an excellent convener, and her hard work was much appreciated. I assure members of similar efforts.
