Item in Private

I ask for the committee's approval to discuss item 4, on the Office of Fair Trading's report on retail pharmacies, in private.

I object to the item's being taken in private. We need clarification on reserved and devolved issues, on the purdah period going into an election and on what the committee is able to decide. I therefore propose that we take the item in public.

I agree. There is no reason to take the item in private.
