Good morning, and welcome to the sixth meeting in 2026 of the Social Justice, Housing and Local Government Committee.

We have received apologies from Thomas Kerr and Steven Bonnar. I welcome Julie MacDougall, who is attending as Thomas’s substitute, and Fulton MacGregor, who is attending remotely as Steven’s substitute.

Because we have, in effect, two new members joining us today, agenda item 1 is their declarations of interests, in accordance with section 3 of the code of conduct. I invite Julie to declare any relevant interests.

I am currently a sitting councillor on Fife Council.
