The Convener (David Stewart)

Good afternoon and welcome to this meeting of the Public Petitions Committee. I remind everyone to switch off mobile phones and electronic devices.

On behalf of the committee, I record our thanks to Neil Bibby for his contribution to the committee, and I ask the clerk to send him a note of our thanks. I welcome Anne McTaggart, who replaces Mr Bibby on the committee.

Item 1 is declaration of interests. In accordance with section 3 of the code of conduct, I invite Anne McTaggart to declare any interests that are relevant to the committee’s remit.

I direct people to my declaration of interests on the Scottish Parliament website. I also note that I am currently an elected member of Glasgow City Council.

Thank you for that. Does Bill Walker want to say something?

I declare that I remain an elected member of Fife Council.
