1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.

2. Delivering public service reform:

The Committee took evidence from—

Ivan McKee, Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Reform, Gabrielle Cahen, Team Leader for Public Service Reform Strategy and Evidence, Simon Mair, Deputy Director for Place Based Service Change and Reform and Ruth Meyer, Head of Public Service Reform Strategy and Governance Unit, Scottish Government.

Michelle Campbell declared an interest as a registered Nurse with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and an elected member of Renfrewshire Council.

Joe Fagan declared an interest as a serving Councillor for South Lanarkshire Council.

3. Delivering public service reform (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier under agenda item 2 and agreed to write to the Scottish Government seeking further information on its approach to delivering public service reform.
