The Committee took evidence from—

Mark Hazelwood, Chief Executive, Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care;

Amy Dalrymple, Associate Director for Policy & Public Affairs, Marie Curie Scotland;

Rami Okasha, Chief Executive, Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS);

Helen Malo, Senior Policy and Public Affairs Manager Scotland, Hospice UK.

The Committee considered—

the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 (Consequential, Transitional and Saving Provisions) (Scotland) Regulations 2026 (SSI 2026/213) 

the Personal Injuries (NHS Charges) (Amounts) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2026 (SSI 2026/245) 

the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2026 (SSI 2026/247)

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instruments.
